Shared National Agenda in Guatemala

The Shared National Agenda is a multiparty effort destined to encourage governance, and may be the mainstay for a national accord to strengthen the State and civil society, as well as a starting point for agreements aimed to the definition of a new Legislative Agenda. Its implementation could represent a considerable asset for those governing the country, as well as for those in the opposition, since it defines the basic route towards national development.

The Agenda is a collective effort of 20 political parties, that constituted a Multiparty Dialogue group participating in more than 40 meetings, workshops and encounters during 2002 and 2003.
